Holiday Message from MG Lynch and CSM Andrews
We just want to wish you and your families a very blessed holiday season.
For our soldiers currently deployed in defense of our freedom, we are so proud of everything you are doing, every day.
We appreciate your selfless service. You are serving on freedom’s frontier and America is so grateful for your sacrifices. You’re all doing more in your 20 or 30 years in life, than many Americans do in their entire lives. You are protecting our nation’s freedoms.
We know that the separation from your families is hard, but you are truly making a difference here and we see it every day. The Iraqi people aren’t worried about security anymore. While looking to make their economies stronger and improve their way of life, you’ve brought them peace and stability.
We are fighting and winning the Global War on Terrorism, because America asked us to. But at the same time, we are all human, and we miss our families terribly. To our families back home, remember, you are always in our hearts and we couldn’t do this without you. We know it is so very hard to be away from our families during the holiday period but we fight this war here now, so that our children and their children won’t have to fight it at home later on.
As always keep security at the utmost in your mind, be safe and again the very best and blessed holiday season to you all.
