IPs detain 3 in Musayyib area

Iraqi Police detained three high-value individuals June 5 in the Musayyib area.
The HVIs are suspected criminals responsible for trafficking and emplacing explosively-formed projectiles.
"These arrests result directly from the close working relationships that we have with the IPs,” said Lt. Col. Timothy Newsome, commander of 3rd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division.
Joint targeting between the Iraqi Security Forces and Company C, 3-7th Inf. Regt., led to the detainment of the three individuals.
Staff Sergeant Aaron Pino, Company C, said the three detainees are suspected to be involved in the January 2007 attack on the Provincial Joint Coordination Center. “We will continue to seek all those responsible for the attack.”
The detainees were turned over to Coalition forces.
